Patreon Tabletop Role Playing List

There are many awesome Tabletop Roleplaying content creators that provide high quality artwork, streams, and stories. One of the ways you can support them is through Patreon.

What is Patreon?

Patreon is a website where you can support a content creator by giving them a donation. This donation can be a monthly donation, or a donation per content that is published. These donations are usually quite small, ranging from $1 to $10. By becoming a patron of a page, you will get rewards from the content creator. The type of rewards are different for each creator. Some examples are, monthly adventures, maps, and tokens.

These monthly donations can be quite important for a creator. As an artist, your income can be very irregular, some months you have a lot of comissions or sales, and some months you have none. But through Patreon, an artist can have a steady flow of income that they can depend upon. This allows content creators to take the step of turning their hobby into a carreer.

Why this list?

Patreon is a great site, but at the time of writing this article (spring 2020), the Patreon search engine sucks. Thats why I decided to make a list of Tabletop Role Playing Game related Patreon pages.

When a content creator sells their wares through a third party website or shop, this third party takes a big chunk of the earnings, often ranging from 30% to 50%. Patreon is also a third party, but their fee is very small (5 to 12%). So by donating through Patreon, you are supporting the creators in a very efficient way.
